What is an "Urban Priestess?"

As women we are all a unique reflection and expression of the Goddess.  We each have the ability to access the power and wisdom that dwell in the liminal space between body and spirit; that sacred place that exists between this world and the Otherworld.  A Priestess lives in harmony and is aligned with the Goddess, transforming the mundane into the magical.  From this place we become Teacher, Healer, Enchantress and Wisewoman.  Men are also hearing this call back to the sacred feminine, and our sons, fathers, husbands and brothers recognize Her as Mother, Consort, and Sister.  We feel the call back to the Goddess in our bones, and the whisperings we hear are not our imagination, She has touched us and called us as one of Her own.  Astrology is one of the sacred arts that can put us in touch with the archetypal patterns in our lives, and align us with the cycles of the seasons of the Wheel of the Year.

Many, if not most astrological texts have focused on Aries as the warrior aspect of the goddess.  Much is made of Arian stereotypical “bossiness” or unbridled impulsiveness and impatience.   Although this Mars energy is definitely an important side to the Aries archetype, it is equal.. .. read more..
